About the Comic

Crash and Burn started with Finn and a handful of friends way back in 2013, in love with sci-fi adventure but livid that it seemed everyone’s imagination stopped short of including queer people – or really, anyone except the same grizzled white dude. This webcomic was our playground, and our attempt to build our own story where we’re allowed to be the protagonists.

Kate came on board shortly after we started publishing online in 2014 and really got us off the ground – we started publishing in print in 2015.  It’s a sci-fi epic; it should be around 18 chapters when it’s all said and done.

On hiatus – updates when possible.

Two albums of original music by queer artists.
A community of fans, tv tropes nerds, artists, and fanfic writers.
